Remote Procurement Lead (6 Positions)

As a Remote Procurement Lead, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing our client’s and vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring efficient procurement processes to achieve cost savings and optimize supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
Identify and analyse spend categories to identify potential savings opportunities.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify suppliers and negotiate favourable terms.

Supplier Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
Evaluate supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
Manage supplier contracts and ensure compliance.

Procurement Operations:
Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to payment.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of purchase orders and invoices.
Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Cost Management and Savings:
Negotiate favorable prices and terms with suppliers.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Track and report on procurement performance and savings.

Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and requirements.
Communicate procurement policies and procedures to stakeholders.
Provide training and support to procurement team members.

Risk Management:
Identify and assess procurement-related risks.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies

Skills and Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:
5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Registered or affiliated with relevant corporate bodies.

Skills:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.

Soft Skills:
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
