Registry Administrative Officer

The Zambia Catholic University seeks to recruit staff in the Registry for the position of Registry Administrative Officer.

Purpose

The post holder is responsible for initiating and maintaining accurate computer data bases on student information.

Main duties.

The following are the main duties of the job:

  1. To enter into the computer system all student admissions for subsequent compilation of reports
  2. To handle document scanning uploading and updating web-based programs for tracking and reporting purposes
  3. To register students for examinations adhering to stipulated guidelines
  4. To generate examination result slips for students
  5. To prepare and process various documents and reports.

Qualifications

  1. Grade 12 level of education
  2. First Degree in Arts e.g. Business Administration,Human Resource Management, Economics.

Required Skills

  1. Good level of verbal and written communication
  2. Ability to plan and organize priorities
  3. Ability to use computers and other office equipment
  4. Good public relations skills.
  5. Ability to produce results within timeframe
  6. At least two years working experience in similar occupation.
