Thebe Investment Management seeks to recruit a Cropping Operations Manager to manage oversee the day to day operations of a cropping farm owned by a subsidiary. The cropping farm will provide feed inputs to a dairy farm that has a herd of over 350 dairy cows with the intent to grow its “in-milk” herd to over 1000 cows within the next 5 years. The cropping manager will be responsible for cropping a farm with an initial total extent of 2500 acres.
The candidate must be willing to participate in the development of this new cropping operation from the bottom-up. Crops will include maize, soya, alfalfa, wheat, and groundnuts. The company seeks to recruit a highly adaptable and entrepreneurial candidate with experience managing a large and modern crop farming operation.
The ideal candidate will be a self starter with a proven track record.
Candidate must be willing to live on-farm.
