As a Chinese to English Translator, you will play a crucial role in bridging language barriers between our Chinese-speaking team members and English-speaking counterparts at our mine and manufacturing plant. Your responsibilities will include:

Translating technical documents, reports, and correspondence from Chinese to English and vice versa.
Interpreting during meetings, conferences, and site visits to ensure clear communication between Chinese and English speakers.
Assisting with the translation of safety protocols, operational procedures, and training materials.
Providing linguistic support to Chinese-speaking employees to enhance their integration and productivity within the workplace.
Collaborating with various departments to ensure accuracy and consistency in translations.
Requirements:

Fluency in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
Proven experience in translation and interpretation, particularly in technical or industrial settings.
Strong knowledge of mining and manufacturing terminology preferred.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Cultural sensitivity and ability to navigate cross-cultural communication effectively.
Certification or accreditation as a translator or interpreter is a plus.
