Call Center Agent (x2)

Job Summary

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Call Center Agent will convert Online Leads into sales, mine for leads from all Customer touch points (Website, Social Pages, Inbound, Outbound, Walk-in, Death Claim), Cross sell & Up sale on Existing clients and retain Clients (NTU, Reinstatements).

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Strong focus on continuously meeting and exceeding sales targets on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Increasing productivity of E-channel sales – Quantitative
  • Achievement of monthly/Quarterly/Half yearly and Annual Targets
  • Obtains client information by responding to online leads, referrals and all touch points
  • Request additional leads/customer information for leads where it is not available
  • Manage weekly reporting on number of leads received and number customers contacted
  • Cross selling and upselling to leads from other businesses
  • Actively engage in the sales hunt. Make a constant effort to find new business online
  • Cultivate relationships with sales leads relationships with sales leads
  • Maintain leads database for business use
  • Informs clients by explaining procedures, answering questions and providing information

Minimum qualifications and experience

  • Full Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
  • Diploma in Social Science; Public Relations (PR) is an added advantage
  • At least one (1) years’ experience in a Call Center environment with digital experience such as social media expertise is an added advantage
  • Computer knowledge – Word, Excel and Power point programmes.
