Duties and Responsibilities
- Conducting pre-shift vehicle checks and ensuring efficient vehicle functionality.
- Driving staff, visitors to various destinations.
- Provide logistical support for movement of raw material and products to various destinations.
- Ensure vehicles are always clean through scheduled cleaning of the vehicle fleet.
- Timely reporting of faults, defects and accidents in line with vehicle policy provisions.
- Ensure the safety and security of assigned vehicles.
- Loading and offloading material and products.
- Participate in sales and marketing initiatives which include embarking on van sales routes.
- Meet sales targets by actively promoting and selling company products.
- Ensure accurate and timely record keeping.
Qualifications/ Competencies
- Grade 12 School certificate.
- A flare for sales field work would be an added advantage.
- A clean Driver’s license with a minimum of at least two years driving in a formal organizational setup.
- Experience in driving manual transmission vehicles.
