TBL Operator

We are looking for an experienced TBL operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating a TBL in a farming setting. He or she will be, operating the TLB in a safe and efficient manner, and completing work according to the project specifications. The candidate must have a strong understanding of farming safety procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment on a variety of farming projects
Perform daily maintenance and safety checks on equipment
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Maintain proper documentation, including time sheets, work orders, and other required paperwork
Communicate with project managers and other personnel to ensure smooth operation of farming projects
Operate TLB in accordance with instructions from Farm manager
Dig trenches, holes, or foundations, as well as grade land to prepare it for farming activities
Backfill excavations using shovels or other hand tools
Use rakes or hoes to level topsoil
Smooth out rough spots on newly graded land
Remove debris and other obstacles from farming site

Required Skills and Qualifications

Grade twelve school certificate or equivalent
Proven experience as TLB operator with traceable references
Valid certification to operate heavy machinery
Excellent physical strength and stamina
Good hand-eye coordination
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
Strong understanding of safety procedures
Ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment
Leadership skills and ability to work well in a team
