Scope of work

  • Creation and implementation of HR systems and processes
  • Formulation of Company policies that need to be adhered
  • Update HR policies and inform employees on any such changes
  • Be updated of any changes in Zambian labor laws and have them implemented
  • Develop training and development programs
  • Facilitate performance appraisals for employees
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues accordance with the company employee manual and HR policies
  • Draft and Review employment contracts
  • Manage attendance and leave days for employees
  • Coordinate and manage the hiring process
  • Create and implement effective onboarding plans
  • Facilitate payroll processing and employee compensation. Knowledge in dove payroll system will be an added advantage
  • Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Full grade twelve (12) certificate
  • Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
  • At least 5 years proven hands-on experience in Human resource management
  • Must have University degree in Human resource management, Business Administration, Public Administration or related field.
  • Knowledge of HR functions
  • Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
  • Proficient in MS Office packages
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
  • Strong ethics and reliability
