SILICA MINE
PARTS STOREMAN REQUIRED
A significant silica mining operation, based in Solwezi, requires the services of a STOREMAN with the following requirements;
- Grade 12 Certificate
- A Diploma in a business administrative field would be an advantage.
- The MOST IMPORTANT requirement would be a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a PARTS/SPARES DEPARTMENT of a reputable company in a HEAVY INDUSTRY. For example, counter salesman at an engine parts shop or storeman in a fabrication shop.
- This position is NOT for a person who has RETAIL/WHOLESALE EXPERIENCE. Such applications will be ignored.
- Computer literate with excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- Diligence in cleaning, and maintaining a clean working enviroment.
- Not afraid to get your hands dirty once in awhile.
- Fluency and literacy of English will be required, for maintenance of a bin card system.
- Aged between 25 years – 35 years old.
- You will be reporting to a Workshop Manager who will supervise you, and demand high standards from you.
- Must be a RESIDENT of Solwezi, Zambia.
- Must have credible and traceable references
- Must be able to get a Police Clearance from the Local Authorities.
