1. Procurement – Intern x1

Job Summary

  • Ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back-ordered or missing products as per procurement, receiving and storage Procedures.
    Assist with maintaining proper inventory levels of materials used regularly and complete inventory movement and transfer forms for bookkeeping.
  • Establish reliable contact lines with the shop management team to ensure that all shop purchase orders are accurate.
  • Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best among potential suppliers.
  • Ensuring all the products are delivered on time.
  • Attend to purchase requisitions accordingly. Scrutinise requisitions and check applicability from the approved budget.
  • Calculate costs of orders, and charge or forward invoices to the appropriate accounts department for payment.
  • Maintaining relationships with existing suppliers while seeking new ones.
  • Supplier evaluation.
  • Prepare purchase orders, raise Local Purchase Orders for approval and send copies to suppliers and departments originating requests.Respond to supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • GCE O’Level Certificate
  • Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration / Purchasing and Supply
    Highly focused and result-driven
  • Should be highly computer literate.
  • Be presentable and have a strong sense of integrity.
  • Honest and ability to work under minimal supervision are prerequisites.

2.  IT – Intern x1

Job Summary

  • Install, update, troubleshoot and offer support to GAAP and Pilot systems.
  • Install, troubleshoot and offer support to LAN system for stores and Head Office (HO)
  • Render remote support to the stores and HO
  • Advise and ensure that correct needed IT equipment is purchasedApply OS patches and upgrades regularly, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
  • Ensure CCTV is up and running.
  • CCTV camera installation, configuration and troubleshooting
  • Ensure all Music systems in the stores are running
  • Ensure all Stores have Internet and all Computers are online
  • Printer installation, configuration and support; in stores and HO
  • Ensure that all store employees are enrolled into the GAAP system
  • Ensure that former Simbisa employees are deactivated in all systems
  • Offer hardware and software; stores and HO
  • Installation of antivirus and cleaning of Malware.

Qualification and experience

  • GCE O’Level Certificate
  • Advanced Certificate or Diploma in Management Information System/Computer Studies
  • Highly focused and result-driven
  • Should be highly computer literate.
  • Be presentable and have a strong sense of integrity.
  • Honest and ability to work under minimal supervision are prerequisites.
