SMECH Engineering Services – Various Positions

SMECH Engineering Services Zambia Limited, a company subcontracted by NAVA Energy Zambia Limited – C/O Maamba Collieries Limited, In the operation and Maintenance (O&M) of a 2*150 MW Thermal Power Plant located in Maamba, Zambia is looking for suitable candidates to recruit for the following positions:

1. Turbine Field Operations x3

Qualification

• Diploma/Graduate in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 1-3 years field O&M experience in Steam Turbines of Thermal Power plants.

2. Boiler Field Operations X 3

Qualification

• Diploma/Graduate in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 1-3 years field O&M experience in Broiler of Thermal Power plants.

3. Balance of Plant (BOP) Operations X2

Qualification

• Diploma/Graduate in Mechanical Engineering  or Electrical Engineering

Experience

• 1-3 years field O&M experience in Compressors, Pumps, ESP and Ash Handling Plant of related Industry.

4. Pump House Operations X2

Qualification

• Craft/Diploma Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

Experience

• 1-3 years O&M experience in pumping & water system of related industry.

5. Mechanical Maintenance Technician X2

Qualification

• Craft in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 1-3 years field maintenance experience in Mechanical equipment of industry.

6. CHP Field Operations X4

Qualification

• Craft/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• 1-3 years field O&M experience in Coal/Lime/any Material Handling Plant of related industry.

7. Electrical Operations x2

Qualification

• Diploma/Graduate in Electrical Engineering

Experience

• 1-3 years O&M experience in Electrical Switchgear/switch yard/Transmission lines of related industry.

8. Instrumentation (C&I) Maintenance Technician x2

Qualification

• Craft Certificate/Diploma in Instrumentation

Experience

• 1-3 years maintenance experience in instrumentation of related industry.

9. Chemist X1

Qualification

• Diploma/B.S.c in Chemistry

Experience

• 1-3 years in O&M, sampling & Chemical analysis of water, coal & ash in related industry.

10. HR Officer X1

Qualification

• Diploma in Human Resource

Experience

• 1-3 years experience in HR activity in related industry.
