TENDER FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TWO (2) ABLUTION BLOCKS AT MAGWERO SCHOOL OF THE DEAF IN CHIPATA, EASTERN PROVINCE
1.1 SOS Children’s Villages Zambia is a childcare and development non-governmental organization working in 134 countries globally.
1.2 SOS CV Zambia has set aside funds to be used towards finance for the construction of two ablution blocks at Magwero School in Chipata Eastern Province under the Grieg Foundation Project.
1.3 Interested and eligible building contractors based in Chipata City are now invited to bid for the construction works. Contractors should be duly certified by NCC and must be in possession of valid construction certificate in Grade 6 category B.
1.4 Bidders should bid for construction of both blocks in one proposal. No bid shall be accepted with proposal to construct one block.
1.5 The complete set of bidding document is accessible through the SOS CV Zambia procurement office upon payment of a non-refundable bidding fee of ZMW500.00 payable to SOS CV Zambia either in Cash or bank certified Cheque through the finance department at Chipata Office.
1.6 The bid document can be accessed from the procurement team by emailing [email protected] . The bid document contains all the selection criteria to which all bidders should comply 100%, failure to meet the requirement will result in the bidder being disqualified.
1.7 Bidders shall be required to carry out a mandatory site visit as a pre-requisite before submitting the completed bid document. No bidder shall be allowed to bid without conducting a site visit. The site visit will be carried from Wednesday 24th to Friday 26th April 2019 and the meeting point is Magwero School of the Deaf from 09:00 to 14:00hrs (contact person is Mr. Chriss Muntanga)
