DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES

  1. Managing daily purchasing activities, supervising stuff, and allocating tasks.
  2. Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc. .
  3. Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.
  4. Coordinating inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.
  5. Managing the maintenance of office/manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  6. Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  7. Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.
  8. Working to improve purchasing systems and processes.
  9. Training new employees in the purchasing process and how to use the purchasing system.
  10. Oversees team of inventory or warehouse employees.
  11. Manages inventory tracking systems to record deliveries, shipment and stock levels.
  12. Analyses daily products and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
  13. Manages schedules of employees, deliveries and shipments to optimize operations.
  14. Communicate with inventory employees to meet business goals and address personal issues.
  15. Develop business relationships with suppliers and clients.
  16. Proposal’s strategies to reduce cost and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.
  17. Monitors demand and analyses data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.
  18. Reports on inventory levels, supply chain process, procedure efficiency and personal issues to upper management.
  19. Tender Committee duties
  20. Any other duty assigned by the supervisor.
