Subject: Consultancy Opportunity – Human Resource and Operations Review and Development
Our client invites qualified Human Resource and Operations Experts or Institutions to submit Expressions of Interest for a consultancy assignment aimed at reviewing the current Human Resource structure and developing new management tools. This consultancy seeks to align Human Resource systems with the Employment Act, enhance operational efficiency, and support the organization’s long-term growth strategy.
Scope of Work
The Consultant will undertake, but not be limited to, the following:
Review Current Human Resource Management Systems: Identify strengths and gaps in the existing systems.
Study Relevant Governance Working Documents: Analyze key policies and manuals for compliance with governance standards.
Make Reference to the Law of the Land: Align recommendations and tools with the Employment Act and other legal requirements.
Hold Consultative Meetings: Engage employees, executives, and selected members of the Management team for input and alignment.
Undertake a Situational Analysis: Assess the organization’s HR environment and identify challenges and opportunities.
Establish Strategic Direction: Define a roadmap for a future-focused HR framework.
Develop Strategic Objectives: Outline actionable HR goals and milestones.
Draft New Human Resource Management Tools: Develop tools and systems to streamline HR processes and improve compliance.
Present Draft HR Tools to the Executive: Solicit feedback on proposed tools for refinement.
Produce Final Working Documents: Deliver comprehensive, ready-to-implement HR policies and tools.
Key Deliverables
The consultancy is expected to produce the following:
Detailed Job Descriptions for all key roles.
Standardized Interview Assessment Sheets for recruitment.
Legally compliant Employee Contracts tailored to the organization’s needs.
Well-defined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) linked to organizational goals.
Comprehensive Performance Appraisal Tools to enhance employee evaluation processes.
A clear and updated Management Organogram to define reporting structures.
A 5-10 Year Staff Planning Scalable Strategy to support future organizational growth.
A robust Code of Ethics to promote professionalism and accountability.
Qualifications
Applicants must submit the following information:
Copies of Registration Certificate, Incorporation, and/or Business Licenses (for firms or institutions).
Company/Consultancy Profile or Resume: Provide an overview of the firm or individual’s expertise and experience.
Experience in Similar Assignments: Provide evidence of past consultancies of a similar nature.
Academic Qualification: For individuals, a Master’s Degree in a relevant field with over 8 years of professional experience.
Strong background in Human Resource and Operations Management.
Skills and Competencies: Excellent writing and analytical skills.
Strong interviewing and reporting abilities.
Proven commitment to meeting deadlines.
Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of the regulatory framework governing Civil Society Organizations.
