About the role:
Ikumbilapo is currently in search of a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Associate to join its team. The Sales Associate will play a pivotal role in the company’s success by identifying and connecting with potential clients, engaging them with the company’s top-notch frameless glass products and construction services.
This role involves nurturing relationships with prospects and guiding them through the sales process, from the initial contact to deal closure. - Client Prospecting: Actively seek out and identify potential clients in the construction and architectural industry who require frameless glass solutions, maintaining a robust pipeline of prospects.
- Engagement and Consultation: Initiate meaningful conversations with prospects, understanding their unique needs, and providing informed product recommendations and construction solutions.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and demonstrations of Ikumbilapo’s frameless glass products and services, highlighting their quality, functionality, and aesthetic appeal.
- Relationship Building: Foster strong, long-lasting client relationships by maintaining regular communication, addressing inquiries promptly, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
- Negotiation and Deal Closure: Skillfully negotiate terms and conditions with clients, striving to secure contracts and close deals that align with company objectives and revenue targets.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and client preferences, leveraging this knowledge to position Ikumbilapo as a market leader in frameless glass solutions.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and progress toward sales goals, and provide regular reports to management.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the broader teams to ensure a seamless transition from sales to project execution, ensuring clients’ expectations are met or exceeded.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek feedback from clients and colleagues, using it to enhance sales strategies, refine product offerings, and contribute to the continuous improvement of Ikumbilapo’s sales processes.
- Goal Achievement: Strive to meet and exceed individual and team targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of Ikumbilapo.
- Adherence to Policies: Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, upholding Ikumbilapo’s reputation for integrity and excellence in all interactions.
- Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- A track record of success in sales, ideally in the construction or related industry, demonstrating the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- A passion for providing exceptional customer experiences and a commitment to understanding and meeting client needs.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with clients, prospects, and industry partners.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively to generate leads, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to work cohesively with colleagues in both sales and project teams.
- Strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets and a commitment to contributing to the company’s growth.
