JOB POSITION: SALES EXECUTIVE
DEPARTMENT: SALES AND MARKETING
REPORTS TO: SHOP MANAGER

Our Client, A Furniture and Home Appliances dealing Company is looking for a competitive Sales Executive.

REMUNERATION: Fixed salary + Commission

POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a competitive and trustworthy Furniture and Home Appliances Sales Executive to help boost up our business and promote sales.

Sales Executive job scope include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals and maintaining customer satisfaction. If you have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable reaching out to potential customers to demonstrate our products through email and phone, we would like to meet you.
Ultimately, you’ll help us meet and surpass business expectations and contribute to our company’s rapid and sustainable growth.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
  • Set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes/requirements and effectively communicate the same to management
  • Promoting and selling the company’s products and services using excellent sales skills and customer service and developing return customer relationships
  • Greeting customers, promoting customer awareness of sales and store promotions, providing customer service, directing customers to merchandise, cross-selling and increasing purchase sales
  • Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on our range of products
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales data
  • Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations
  • Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences so as to promote/showcase our superior quality products
  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections in Liaison with management
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

PREREQUISITES:

  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Good listening skills and attention to details
  • High level of resilience and the ability to handle rejection well
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to flourish in a competitive industry
  • A great sense of self-motivation, ambition and determination
  • Ability to achieve desired results both individually and as a part of a team
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
  • Good self-management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION:

  • Full Grade twelve Certificate
  • Advanced Certificate in Sales and Marketing/Business Administration, Diploma or Degree shall be an added advantage.
  • Must be Computer Literates

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in Similar Roles

LOCATION:
Priority will be given to Lusaka based candidates. Prospective candidates based/near/staying in SOS are highly preferred due to location of our business.
