SYSTEMS ANALYST

1. Responsibilities for Systems Analyst

1.1 Meet and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to establish project scope, system goals, and requirements
1.2 Develop, analyze, prioritize, and organize requirement specifications, data mapping, diagrams, and flowcharts for developers and testers to follow
1.3 Develop data-flow and process documentation flow diagrams between system provider and third-party processes for integration
1.4 Translate highly technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements
1.5 Define and coordinate the execution of testing procedures, and develop test cases to serve the overall quality assurance process
1.6 Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed
1.7 Perform design, implementation, and upgrades of information systems to meet the business and user needs
1.8 Implement best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performance

2. QUALIFICATIONS

2.1 Strong Grade 12 certificate (attach)

2.2 Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience
2.3 Graduated or final year student from a reputable university in the last four years
2.4 One to three years’ experience working with information technologies and systems analysis
2.5 Strong computer, hardware, software, and analytical skills
2.6 Proven ability to assess business needs and translate them into relevant solutions
2.7 Strong understanding and knowledge of the principles and practices associated with database maintenance and administration
2.8 Experience installing, configuring, documenting, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems
2.9 Working knowledge of a wide variety of programming languages
2.10 Excellent analytical skills
