The Learning Ladder

The Learning ladder is a safe and exciting learning environment that aims to provide a complete Montessori program which considers the emotional, intellectual, physical, and social development of the child by addressing the uniqueness of each in a nurturing, emotionally secure and academically excellent environment.

The Learning Ladder seeks qualified and experienced instructors to join our team;

1. Ballet Instructor (1)

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in ballet, a thorough understanding of the art form, and the ability to teach a variety of classes. The instructor must also be able to effectively communicate with children of all ages and experience levels.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching young children and a commitment to helping them reach their full potential.

The successful applicant will be responsible for leading and planning ballet classes, developing lesson plans, and providing guidance to students in a safe and enjoyable learning environment. They should have a good understanding of the fundamentals of ballet, and be able to build a positive rapport with children of all ages.

To be considered for the role, applicants must have:

  • A minimum of two years of experience teaching ballet to children
  • A solid understanding of the fundamentals of ballet
  • A passion for teaching and helping young children reach their full potential
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

2. Karate Instructor (1)

The ideal candidate should be a passionate and positive individual with a background in teaching karate.

Responsibilities:

  • Teach karate classes to groups of children aged 3-6
  • Ensure that the classes are engaging and fun
  • Promote a safe and positive environment
  • Develop and implement lesson plans
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback

Qualifications:

  • Professional or competitive karate experience
  • Knowledge of martial arts terminology
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • First Aid certification (preferred)
  • Ability to effectively handle challenging behavior
  • Good organizational skill
