Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Associate to join their team. The Operations Associate will be responsible for supporting various operational functions, including resource management, supply chain management, process improvement, and customer support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing inventory levels and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Support the procurement process by researching and obtaining quotes from suppliers, preparing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries and transport logistics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operational processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist in monitoring key performance indicators and generating reports to track operational metrics.
- Assist in managing relationships with external partners, including logistics, transport and rental office providers and vendors.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of standard operating procedures.
- Assist with various administrative tasks, such as data entry, document management, and filing.
- Provide support to the team as needed and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in operations or supply chain management.
- Experience in an HR related environment and affiliation to ZIHRM will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Should possess a valid driving license.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
