TIG WELDER X 1
Purpose of the Role
TIG welder will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of sheet metal works and fabrication, Aluminium, brazing, dairy pipes and stainless steel pipes.
Key Responsibilities /Outputs:
- Maintain Inventory of spares and PPEs required to keep the TIG exercise running nonstop.
- Conduct holistic risk assessment prior to commencing work.
- Set up machines according to work instructions to trim, size, form, inspect, and TIG welding material to meet fabrication drawing requirements
Other Competencies/Attributes required:
- Must have good understanding of food production line and different equipment used.
- Must have good understanding of quality of welding for each piece of equipment in the production line
- Must pay attention to detail
- Must be a team player
Qualifications: Education/Technical Skills and Experience:
- Must have a grade 12 Certificate
- Trade Certificate with more than 2 years work experience at similar level
- Must be a member of Engineering Institution of Zambia
2. ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN X2
Purpose of the Role
The Electrical Technician will be responsible for creating, installing, maintaining, trouble shooting, and repairing electrical equipment.
Key Responsibilities /Outputs:
- Trouble shooting electrical issues.
- Inspects circuit breakers and other electrical components.
- Conducting general electrical maintenance.
- Working standard computations relating electrical load requirements of wiring.
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and electrical diagrams.
- Hands on experience in packing machine maintenance, compressors and generators.
- Must have exposure in VFDS, Closed loop control system, DOL and Star delta starter.
Other Competencies/Attributes required:
- Ability to understand and apply basic mathematics.
- Detail oriented.
- Proficient with hand tools.
- Highly observant and analytical.
Qualifications: Education/Technical Skills and Experience:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma in electrical trade
- 5-6 years work experience
- Must be a member of Engineering Institute of Zambia
