1. MAINTENANCE PLANNER × 1
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. In collaboration with Engineering Stores Clerk, ensures that minimum stock levels of critical spares are maintained, and routinely follows-up with procurement on new stock or services ordered.
2. Develop integrated maintenance schedules of work that optimizes equipment downtime and resource utilization.
3. Develop equipment availability forecasts based upon planned work.
4. Develop cost and material forecasts for planned work in CMMS and Budget System.
5. Develop detailed scopes of work for future planned work schedules (weekly, shutdowns, annual plans) that improve resource effectiveness.
6. Develop and issue work management KPIs and improvement plans.
7. Develop, implement and maintain safe work procedures and promote high safety and health awareness. Promote and comply with the LMC Occupational Health & Safety Policy.
8. Be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the team.
9. In conjunction with the Safety Officer and/or other Supervisors, carries out Risk Assessments prior to task execution, detailing the work procedure
10. Co-ordinate Plant Condition Monitoring (including walk-around checks), activities in close collaboration with the Supervisors; keeping records of the same
11. In consultation with the Supervisors, do work scheduling, estimating the hours and man-power needed to effectively execute the task
12. Ensures adherence to EHS standards e.g. ISO/ZABS
13. Document Control e.g. Engineering Drawings/Manuals/Technical publications
14. Accurately measure maintenance activities and report accordingly
15. Compiling/delivering reports from the CMMS programme, regarding the work execution/management
16. Ensure appropriate facilities, procedures and workforce competence to achieve legal compliance, incident prevention and the achievement of tasks in an environmentally sustainable manner.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering/ Diploma Mechanical Engineering
2) Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambian
3) Minimum two (2) years manufacturing experience in planning function focused on either mobile fleet or fixed plant.
4) All qualifications must be certified by Zambia Qualification Authority
5) High levels of competency in maintenance planning, integrated scheduling, backlog management, shutdown management, budget development, asset master data, maintenance KPI reporting and continuous improvement techniques
6) Competent in asset strategy development and life cycle costing
7) Competent in supporting processes such as, procurement, rotables management, spares management
8) Must be able to read understand and reference maintenance manuals.
9) High levels of competency in the use of CMMS Systems (e.g. Pronto), MS Office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
10) Medium level competency in budgeting tools (e.g. Xeras)
2. SHIFT IN CHARGE ENGINEER × 1
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Adhering to strict safety protocols and regulatory requirements in all maintenance activities.
2) Utilizing maintenance management systems and tools to schedule tasks, track work orders, and document activities.
3) Supervising and coordinating maintenance activities during assigned shifts, including preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
4) Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and implementing corrective actions to restore functionality.
5) Ensuring compliance with maintenance schedules, safety standards, and quality requirements.
6) Monitoring equipment performance through data analysis and recommending improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
7) Training and developing maintenance technicians to improve skills and knowledge.
8) Maintaining accurate records and reports of maintenance activities, including downtime analysis, parts usage, and maintenance costs.
9) Supervising and coordinating maintenance activities during assigned shifts, including preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
10) Ensure records are up-to-date and accessible for audits.
11) Implement measures to improve maintenance processes.
12) Analyse data to identify opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements.
13) Ensure maintenance staff are trained and competent in quality standards.
14) Provide ongoing training to enhance technical skills and quality awareness.
15) Identify and mitigate risks related to maintenance affecting product quality.
16) Develop risk assessment protocols for maintenance operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. A Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

3. ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR × 1
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Plan,schedule and assign work to electrician meeting tight deadlines
2) Maintaining electrical system and equipment’s to prevent failure and downtime
3) Providing timely and effective electrical maintenance and repair service
4) Oversee and coordinate the work of electrician and other electrical staff
5) Designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and equipment
6) Analyzing data and testing results to identify areas for improvement.
7) Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including maintenance teams.
8) Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
9) Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues and problems.
10) Developing and implementing electrical safety procedures and protocols.
11) Creating and reviewing electrical drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
12) Managing multiple projects or teams simultaneously

4. MECHANICAL FITTER × 6
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Oversee the assembly/disassembly of bag machines and extrude film and process equipment.
2. Regulate process setting and their optimal adjustments.
3. Check for any breakdown or maintenance issue and resolve the issues and report to maintenance manager and writing the brake down hours.
4. Identify and analyse problems and provide effective solutions through the production process.
5. Look for any spare part requirement, submit the same to the managers.
6. Do daily preventive maintenance on machines and record the documents.
7. Monitor and maintain the machine and production area to ensure clean workplace.
8. Effective coordination with plant supervisors.
9. Cleanliness of plant at any given time.
10. Quick and efficient communication with operations for spares.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Mechanical Technician Advanced Certificate
2) Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambian.
3) Minimum of two years (2) in a plastic manufacturing plant in film and bag making machines.
4) All qualifications must be certified by Zambia Qualification Authority.
5) Have sufficient knowledge of electricity and pneumatic.
6) Communication and teamwork skill.
7) Computer knowledge.
5. QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN × 3
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Ensure commitment, participation of department and at all levels within the unit towards implementation of QMS.
2. Adhere the work as per Quality Policy and compliance of QMS.
3. Work and execute as per QMS Objectives.
4. Implementation of Quality Policy within the department and unit.
5. To continuously track, record and monitor departmental performance KPI and identify action for improvement.
6. To educate, motivate and involve every employee of the unit in fulfillment of the objectives of QMS.
7. Ensure quality of the products manufactured by effective implementation of quality management system & ensure that these are being produced safely and ensure to minimize significant environmental aspects & OHS hazards.
8. Perform Line Clearance of each run.
9. Perform Inspection as per Quality Assurance Plan (QAP).
10. Check and verify material formulation as per standard material.
11. Identify each checked and OK goods with QC OK stamping status.
12. Issue identification and QC slip to each machine and verify each slip for its compliance.
13. Troubleshoot online quality issues.
14. Participate with supervisor for obtaining customer feedback and its analysis & closure.
15. Investigate and Do containment action against each NCR, Customer Feedback and customer complaint.
16. Verify hourly packing qty & weight as per standards.
17. Record daily report inline with QMS
REQUIREMENTS:
1) A Diploma/ Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science or related field
2) Direct experience in a manufacturing plant and at least 2 years’ experience in a QA/QC.
3) All qualifications must be certified by Zambia Qualification Authority.
4) Excellent communication skills while working with team members.
5) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
6) Ability to train and supervise employees to improve the efficiency of the facility.
7) Monitor the production output, depending on the specifications.
8) Willingness to learn different aspects of the job and receive ongoing training.
6. WASTE WATER TREATMENT OPERATOR X 01
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Responsible for the operating, analysis and maintenance of the ETP and STP
2) Carrying out all the Lab analysis in the shift
3) To maintain all parameter under the Environmental norms
4) Visit the operation department to ensure if unnecessary wastage of water, overflows of the tank, extra discharge of the effluent etc.
5) To run the Treatment process smoothly and give updates to the supervisor
6) To ensure chemical preparations are done well and according to the required quantity.
7) To keep the record of the chemical usage per day and establish weekly chemical usage and give reports.
8) To ensure all mechanical faults are reported immediately and worked on as required.
9) Monitor all the mechanical equipment and ensure that daily maintenance checklist is performed accordingly.
10) To ensure the plant is good operation condition, and updates on plant status.
11) To make sure good housekeeping is done on a daily basis.
12) To calibrate all the laboratory equipment and keep the records.
13) To produce samples of Treated water (Discharge Water) for external laboratory analysis and keep records of the results as required
14) To make sure that the Treated Water analysis parameters are within the required standards of the Zambia Environment Management Agency (ZEMA)
15) To conduct Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) on a weekly basis and the results updated in log book.
16) To test the Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) and Dissolved Oxygen (DO) on daily basis and keep records.
17) To ensure the Potential of Hydrogen (pH) is maintained according to standard operation procedure at each stage of the operation process.
18) To ensure Sludge removal is done on time and quantity is recorded accordingly.
19) To ensure the laboratory and all the laboratory apparatus are clean and stored in safe locations.
REQUIREMENTS:
1) Environment specialist/ Diploma in chemical or Laboratory Science.
2) Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in Waste Water Treatment Plant
3) All qualifications must be certified by Zambia Qualification Authority
4) Through knowledge All chemical
5) Calculation and calibration of the equipment
6) Knowledge of Microbiology
7. ELECTRICIAN × 1
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Installs, alters, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring systems and equipment, both high and low voltage, air distributions systems, pumps, transformers, motors, and appliances.
2) Understands electrical plans for commercial building and electrical equipment.
3) Draws circuits on a diagram for controls.
4) Design functional electric circuitry for electrical systems.
5) Locate and adjust defects in electrical systems and equipment.
6) Installs electrical fitting to existing building or other structures.
7) Express ideas on technical problems clearly and concisely orally and in writing.
8) Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
9) Meets company attendance requirements.
10) Meets company uniform appearance and grooming standards.
11) Completed relevant tasks as requested by other managers &/or team members.
12) Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including maintenance teams.
13) Ensuring compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
