Maintenance Planner (X1)
Position Summary:
The Maintenance Planner is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance activities within the manufacturing plant. This role aims to optimize equipment uptime, enhance productivity, and reduce unplanned downtime through meticulous planning and preventive maintenance strategies.
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Develop, plan, and schedule preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Ensure maintenance plans are aligned with production schedules to minimize disruptions.
- Prepare detailed job plans, including tools, parts, labor, and safety requirements
- Prioritize, plan, and schedule work orders based on criticality and resource availability.
- Ensure work orders are accurate, complete and updated in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Liaise with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance tasks.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of spare parts and tools.
- Ensure timely procurement of parts and materials to prevent delays.
- Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety and regulatory standards.
- Act as a liaison between the maintenance team and other departments, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.
- Provide regular updates on maintenance schedules and progress to management
Qualifications Required:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning within a manufacturing environment.
Required Attributes for the Role Include:
- Proficiency in CMMS software (e.g., ERP, PM, Shopware, etc.).
- Strong understanding of maintenance principles, reliability engineering, and equipment lifecycle management.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- Maintenance Planning Certification
- Reliability Cantered Maintenance (RCM) or similar certifications
Predictive Maintenance Specialist (X1)
Position Summary: The Predictive Maintenance Specialist is responsible for implementing and managing predictive maintenance strategies to improve equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and enhance operational efficiency within the manufacturing plant. This role involves leveraging advanced diagnostic tools, data analysis, and condition-monitoring techniques to predict and prevent equipment failures.
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Perform regular condition-monitoring activities using techniques such as vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis, and ultrasound.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and sensors to monitor equipment performance and identify potential issues.
- Analyse real-time and historical data to detect anomalies and trends indicative of equipment wear or failure.
- Develop predictive models to forecast maintenance needs and improve reliability
- Establish and execute predictive maintenance schedules in coordination with maintenance and production teams.
- Ensure timely intervention based on predictive maintenance findings to prevent equipment breakdowns
- Work closely with reliability engineers to identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Implement strategies to enhance equipment performance and extend asset lifespan.
- Provide technical support for the implementation and troubleshooting of monitoring systems
- Maintain detailed records of predictive maintenance activities and finding
Qualifications Required:
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in predictive maintenance or condition monitoring within a manufacturing environment.
Required Attributes for the Role Include:
- Proficiency in predictive maintenance tools and techniques (e.g., vibration analysers, infrared cameras).
- Knowledge of CMMS software and data analytics tools like ERP, MS office.
- Understanding of reliability engineering principles.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP)
