RISE AGAIN PROJECT MID-TERM EVALUATION
Undikumbukire Project Zambia (UP Zambia) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced consultant firms/ individuals to carry out a mid-term evaluation for the Rise Again Project implemented in partnership with Build It International.
BACKGROUND
Undikumbukire Project Zambia (UP) is a Zambian human rights organization focused on juveniles in conflict with the law. The aim of the organization is to help imprisoned juveniles obtain legal representation and social support and advocating for a more restorative justice system.
Build it International Zambia creates opportunities for young people and their communities through skills training, work experience and essential community building projects.
With sponsorship from the European Union, UP Zambia in partnership with BII Zambia are implementing “Rise Again”, a project focused on reintegration into society of juveniles in conflict with the law through skills training, counseling and wellness interventions. The Target Sites for the project are Lusaka Central and Lusaka Remand Correctional Facilities and Katombora Reformatory School.
PURPOSE OF THE EVALUATION
The Mid-Term Evaluation is aimed at assessing if the project implementation is on track, challenges towards attaining set targets and making recommendations for improvement of project performance. This review will cover the period of project implementation from January 2019 to date. The evaluation should inform implementing partners and Donors whether the assumptions made during the project design process are still valid or if there is need to adjust them.
