Unicaf University, a leading pan-African institution offering internationally recognised undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes, is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and visionary professional to join its leadership team as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (DVC) for its Zambia campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to ensure academic excellence, operational efficiency,
    and institutional growth.
  •  Oversee the implementation of academic policies, programmes, and initiatives to
    maintain the university’s high standards.
  •  Collaborate with the Vice-Chancellor in managing institutional operations, including
    planning, governance, and financial oversight.
  •  Foster partnerships with stakeholders, including government bodies, accreditation
    agencies, and the private sector, to enhance the university’s profile and impact.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, inclusivity, and student-centred learning.
  • Lead and support faculty development and research activities to advance the university’s mission and vision.

 

Requirements:

  •  A doctorate degree from a recognised institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive academic and administrative leadership experience, preferably at the level of Dean, PVC, DVC, or equivalent.
  •  Strong knowledge of higher education policies, accreditation standards, and quality
    assurance.
  •  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills.
  • A proven track record of fostering academic growth, research, and institutional development.
  • Experience working with diverse teams and stakeholders in a multicultural
    environment.
