Upgrade Africa Limited is a small, but fast growing specialized in sourcing and supplying of construction aggregates namely; building sand, quarry dust, crushed stones and gravel to both construction companies and individual developers.

We are urgently looking for an innovative and results driven Business Development Officer to join our growing team.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Being the first point of contact between all clients and stakeholders
  • Presenting and promoting company products and services to new and existing customers
  • Generating and pursuing sales leads
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers
  • Identifying target markets and developing new opportunities for business
  • Keeping up to date with latest industry and competitor trends and developments
  • Ensuring revenue targets are met by identifying opportunities to increase profitability
  • Generation of reports concerning sales, customer feedback, problems and/or opportunities for the business

Qualifications and experience include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or any relevant business related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ proven  work experience (especially in sales and marketing)
  • Being creatively-minded and able to think outside the box
  • Effective communication skills
  • Sound networking and  selling skills
  • Good negotiation and exceptional customer service skills
  • Valid driver’s license
