Miracle Corners Zambia (MCZ) is a non- profit making organization currently registered under Registrar of Societies . MCZ is a Vocational Training Centre registered under TEVETA. MCZ’s mission is to address communities’ pressing needs by empowering current leaders and readying leaders of tomorrow. The main core courses offered are Designing Cutting and Tailoing and Computer studies. In addition we have handcraft Department , Literacy and youth program that gives us a huge population of people on daily basis. MCZ is mainly run by Zambian youths with support from Miracle Corners of the World (MCW), headquartered in New York, United States of America. The Centre also relys on colleting tuition fees and revenue from the hiring of the centre Hall. To ensure smooth operations and its corporate social responsibility to the nearby Chanyanya community, the Centre plans to provide an uninterrupted access to clean water.

In this regard, MCZ wishes to invite qualified companies to submit technical and financial proposals to undertake its water exploration, drilling, and construction project at its Chanyanya Community Youth Centre (CCYC), located about 35 kilometers from Kafue Town, west of Kafue Estates. The proposal should show details of the Company’s successful track record in undertaking similar projects, including demonstrating the ability to work in areas with clay soils and prone to flooding in the rain season. Furthermore, the company should be able to:Submit a certificied copy of the firm’s licence on water exploration, drilling and construction.
Provide a lead expert who will supervise the project and constantly report to MCZ Management
Determine the location and construction of the pump house considering that CCYC is located in an area prone to flooding
Provide a clear plan on how to reinforce security bars and electrification of the water supply system
Provide a clear plan on running water pipe line system from 450 metres to the intended place.
Provide a plan of how the water pipe line will cross over the 12 metres length of drainage system.
Give an indication of the normal time specified for pumping water in the tank
Provide advice on key fundamental areas to avoid persistence weakness when operating the water pump.
Ensure that at least water levels in the well should be guaranteed for constant running water supply throughout the year
Provide the period of guarantee for the installation of borehole.
Note that the liabilities for failure to drill a live borehole will accrue to company and not to MCZ . The completion of the project should be within the period of 4 weeks after commencement date. The successful company will be required to attend a start-up meeting with the MCZ Management team in Chanyanya, the local and executive board before project commencement. The start-up meeting is meant to discuss and outline project implementation and supervision arrangements.

Furthermore, the hired firm will be required to submit a letter of completion and a project completion report outline appropriate technical specifications of the entire water system.In addition, the project completion report should provide recommendations/guide lines on sanitation and operation of the water system.
