We Effect Regional Office Southern Africa hereby invites applications from suitably qualified organisations and/or individuals to register as service providers, suppliers and contractors for the provision of various goods and services.

INTRODUCTION

We Effect is a development organisation founded in 1958 by the cooperative movement in Sweden. We Effect works in more than 20 countries in Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America, Africa and collaborates mainly with member-based organisations consisting of women and men who live in poverty. We Effect works in the thematic fields of sustainable rural development, livelihoods improvement, gender, climate change and adequate housing and habitat. We Effects’ values are Respect, Transparency, and Togetherness.

The provision of goods and services is required in the following categories:

CATEGORY 1: GOODS

  • Corporate Wear & Supplies – T/Shirts, Caps, Corporate Shirts, Safety Wear, Diaries and other
  • Corporate Gifts

  • Electrical, Plumbing and General hardware
  • Uniforms, Protective clothing and Janitorial equipment
  • Communication Equipment

CATEGORY 2: HOSPITALITY, LOGISTICS, TRAVEL

  • Conferencing and Accommodation Facilities
  • Outside Catering
  • Car hire
  • Taxi Services
  • Travel agency services (Air, Road, Rail, Sea, Visa processing etc.)
    Customs, Clearing and Forwarding
  • Supply and Installation of Motor Vehicle Tracking System
  • Relocation Services/Household Removals

CATEGORY 3: PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

  • Building Maintenance – plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting and interior finishes
    Motor Vehicle Repairs and Service
  • Servicing of Air Conditioners
  • Servicing of Fire Extinguishers
  • Office Equipment Repairs and Maintenance
  • Sanitary Services
  • Pest control

CATEGORY 4: ADVERTISING & COMMUNICATION

  • Printing and Branding
  • Graphics Designing/Publication Illustrative
  • Signage Fabrication and Maintenance
  • Sign writing

CATEGORY 5: INFORMATION & COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY (ICT)

  • Supply of Computer Hardware
  • IT Accessories
  • ICT Consumables including toners
  • Security Equipment & Spares including Maintenance
  • ICT repair & maintenance (copiers, fax machines, printers, computers)

CATEGORY 6: EMERGENCY

  • Replenishment of First aid kits (both office and motor vehicle)
  • Covid-19 mitigation measures supplies (e.g. face masks, sanitizers etc.)
  • Fire extinguishers (both office & motor vehicle)

CATEGORY 7: OTHER SERVICES

  • Fuel services (for motor vehicles and genset)

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. All applicants should submit applications via email to [email protected], or deposit applications in the Tender Box at the We Effect Regional Office reception, Plot 93 Kudu Road, Lusaka clearly stating “REGISTRATION OF SUPPLIERS – (Insert Category of Interest)” in the Subject Line or Envelope, e.g. “REGISTRATION OF SUPPLIERS – Category A”.

We Effect restricts the limit to four (4) categories per company. Deadline for receiving Tenders is 30th September 2020, 12:00hrs

2. All applicants should mandatorily submit the following:

(a) Certificate of Registration/Incorporation;

(b) Copies of valid VAT Certificates

(c) Valid Tax Clearance certificate

(d) TPIN Registration Certificate

(e) Company Profile/CVs clearly indicating the full registered name of the organisation/individual, Physical Business Address, Business Contact Details (include key contact person, job title, email address(es), phone number (mobile & office)

(f) Company Directors and addresses

(g) At least three (3) References from reputable clients

(h) Relevant regulatory body certificate (ERB, ZEMA, ZAMRA, ZPPA, ZICTA, etc.)

(i) Full banking details and financial capability

(j) Payment terms

(k) Delivery Period

(l) Any other information relevant to the Product(s) / Service(s)

3. Registered suppliers may be requested to extend credit facilities of not less than 30 days.

4. Registration does not automatically constitute an offer of business.

5. All suppliers currently rendering goods and/or services to We Effect Regional Office Southern Africa (ROSA) without any formal agreements, are free to apply accordingly.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE EFFECT WILL UNDERTAKE A PRELIMINARY EVALUATION AND ONLY SUCCESSFUL FIRMS WILL BE NOTIFIED.
