TENDER FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF BUFFALO, WILDEBEEST, IMPALA, ZEBRA AND OSTRICH FOR SIOMA NGWEZI AND MOSI-Oa-TUNYA NATIONAL PARKS
INTRODUCTION

OBJECTIVE OF THE ASSIGNMENT
World Wide Fund (WWF) for Nature Zambia in collaboration with the Government of the Republic of Zambia (GRZ) through the Ministry of Tourism is receiving support through the Climate Adaptation and Protected Areas (CAPA) Initiative that is aimed at the use of nature-based solutions (NbS) to strengthen climate resilience and protect biodiversity. In Zambia, the project is supporting the procurement and translocation of various wildlife species for the restocking of Sioma Ngwezi and Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Parks in order to improve wildlife populations
It is against this background WWF Zambia is looking for suitably qualified and competent service providers to submit bids for the supply, capture, translocation and safe delivery of various wildlife during the quarters and translocation window approved by the Department of National Parks and Wildlife. The species earmarked for translocation are as per Lots below:

Preliminary Attachments
- Certificate of Incorporation/ Registration issued by the Registrar of Companies in Zambia
- Valid copy of ZRA Tax Clearance
- NAPSA Compliance Certificate
- ZPPA registration
- Trade references in relation to previous and similar assignments
Technical Requirements:
- Company Profile inclusive of full details of the Directors and Management.
- Signed Financial Proposals detailing the Specifications (species, sub-species), as indicated in the Lots above, for the animals you are supplying. The costing MUST include Disease Risk Assessment for LOTS One to Three (01 – 03) and must have a 30-Day Validity.
- Be a Zambian registered and recognized capture and translocation company with a Zambian registered veterinary surgeon.
- Have specialized equipment for humane and ethical capture and translocation activity.
- Proven record of accomplishment of successful live wild animal delivery is an added advantage.
- Proof sound liquidity of the firm, through annual reports and bank statements for the last Five (05) Months
- Appropriate membership to statutory bodies.
Duration of the Assignment - Anticipated Delivery period for all the Lots is: 5-9 weeks after receipt of the Initial 50% Payment
Commercial and Payment Terms - Quotation validity of 30 days
- Delivery period: 5-9 weeks
- Payments terms: 50% on Contract Sign off and 50% on Successful completion of assignment. Payment to be through bank transfer into the account of the awarded company based on the schedule of payments disbursement as indicated above.
BIDDING INSTRUCTIONS:
- Bidders must scrutinize all the requirements and must ensure that ALL documents are submitted in PDF Format as a single merged document or other in ONE Zipped Folder to be compliant and responsive.
- Bidders are invited to attend a non-mandatory, but important pre-bidding Zoom call on 18th November 2024 at 10:00hrs hours. Bidders are encouraged to attend the zoom meeting at which any questions or clarifications will be provided, as no further forum will be provided.
