PROCUREMENT OFFICER – HUNTLEY FLOURMILL (1)

The Required Skills for this Role Include:

  • Assessing the supply market for products and services with respect to price and quality
  • Liaising with requesting departments to assist in defining specifications from requirements to supplier
  • Resolving value/quality discrepancies of the supplied items through formal supplier complaints and following up on feedback
  • Processing purchase orders (in pastel) and submitting them to respective signatories for authorisation
  • Ensuring payments/prepayments (if terms require so) are done to suppliers
  • Checking GRNs to ensure they are correctly filled in
  • Receiving purchases requisitions from end user departments
  • Processing purchase orders (in pastel) and submitting them to respective signatories for authorization

The Required Qualifications are:

  • Full Grade 12 certificate
  • Bachelor of Science in Purchasing and Supply
  • Relevant pre-job requirements
  • 3 -5 years previous experience
  • Numerical/Computing skills
  • Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft excel and experience in the use of pastel account or any other similar package

ACCOUNTANT – HUNTLEY FLOURMILL (1)

The Required Skills for this Role Include:

  • Preparing quarterly management reports with supporting documents for Internal Audit
  • Conducting monthly intercompany reconciliations and account journals
  • Ensuring correct account allocation and transaction descriptions
  • Ensuring all customers master files are completed and up-to-date and information on pastel agrees with master files
  • Conducting weekly oversight on Debtors age analysis and discuss any violation of credit terms with the Debtors accountant
  • Conducting a weekly oversight on Creditors age analysis and discuss any violation of credit terms with the Creditors accountant
  • Checking daily cash balances, distribute statements and report any instances of cash flow concerns
  • Conducting a monthly oversight on Creditors with debt balances and ensure there is no old balances accumulating
  • Checking monthly bank reconciliations
  • Ensuring that the daily banking report is submitted by cashiers after every day sales and verified

The Required Qualifications are:

  • Full Grade 12 certificate
  • Fully qualified ACCA/CIMA or any other similar qualification
  • 3 – 5 years’ work experience in managing debtors as an added advantage
  • Numerical/Computing skills
  • Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft excel and experience in the use of pastel account or any other similar package

STORES CLERK – HUNTLEY FLOURMILL (1)

The Required Skills for this Role Include:

  • Receiving all goods by physical identification, inspection and confirm in agreement with supporting documents
  • Ensuring that end users confirm goods received are correct and in accordance to specification if not familiar with the items
  • Raising GRN for all items received and ensuring that it is duly signed off and update records
  • Issuing any stores items with correct requisition forms and dully authorized
  • Checking on minimum/maximum stock levels every day and report any variance to the Manager
  • Raising purchase requisitions, ensure it is dully approved and submit to procurement department
  • Raising good issue note and update records
  • Keeping all records on stores up to date and report any variances to the Manager immediately
  • Following up on purchase requisitions with procurement to ensure continued availability of items
  • Carrying out physical stock take once a month and following up on any variance with the records
  • Submitting all supporting documents for goods received to accounts department to facilitate payments in good time

The Required Qualifications are:

  • Full Grade 12 certificate
  • Certificate in Purchasing and Supply
  • Relevant pre-job requirements
  • 3 years relevant experience
  • Numerical/Computing skills
