The Zambia Institute of Mass Communication (ZAMCOM) was established under the ZAMCOM Act of Parliament of 1996 to provide Communications and Media training and production services to government, non-government, private sector and individual clients within Zambia and the Southern African region. ZAMCOM has recently been undergoing a corporate renewal and is currently implementing a new strategic plan aiming at positioning the organization to becoming financially viable and independent.

CREATIVE DIGITAL MEDIA LECTURER/TUTOR

An eligible candidate is one who is capable of lecturing at least four or more of the following courses:

3D modelling and Animation I
Design Skills for Digital Media
Image Processing
Multimedia Authoring
Web Authoring
Digital application
Communication Skills
Introduction to Computers

3D Modelling and Animation II
2D Animation
Sound Production for Digital Media
Context and Cultural Referencing
Client-Side Web Authoring
Digital Image Creation
Entrepreneurship

Desk-Top Video Editing
Digital Applications in 2D and 4D
Sever –Side Web Authoring
Management and Organization
Design Principles for Digital Media
Professional Project –Team Brief

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Full Grade 12 certificate with 5 “O” level credits including Mathematics and English.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Degree in Creative Digital Media or related field from a reputable Institution.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in a reputable undertaking.
