Job Description: Membership Officer
Purpose of the Role:
To manage and enhance the membership experience by ensuring efficient administration, engagement, and support for members of the Zambia Medical Association.
Key Responsibilities:
Membership Administration:
– Process membership applications, renewals, and terminations.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date membership records.
– Issue membership certificates and related documents.
Member Engagement:
– Organize member events such as conferences, seminars, and networking activities.
– Coordinate communication campaigns to keep members informed and engaged.
Customer Service:
– Address member inquiries and provide timely resolutions.
– Manage communication channels, including email and phone support.
Data Management:
– Ensure the integrity of membership data by regular updates and verification.
– Generate reports on membership statistics for management.
Compliance and Policies:
– Enforce membership regulations and ethical standards.
– Ensure adherence to internal policies in all membership-related processes.
Administrative Support:
– Assist in other tasks as required by the Association.
Skills and Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or Bachelor of Arts degree with bias to
human behavior, Society and relationships.
– Strong organizational and administrative skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
– Proficiency in data management and reporting tools.
– A background in healthcare or professional associations is a plus.
