The Zambia Red Cross Society is a humanitarian organization dedicated to providing relief and support to vulnerable communities in Zambia. As part of our commitment to the well-being of our employees, we are seeking proposals from reputable medical centers/ Hospitals to provide comprehensive medical schemes for our 120 employees.
2. AIMS / OBJECTIVES
Main Objective: To secure a medical scheme that offers quality healthcare services for Zambia Red Cross Society employees.
– To ensure timely access to medical services and treatment for employees.
– To promote the health and well-being of employees through comprehensive healthcare coverage.
3. ASSIGNMENT DETAILS AND SCOPE OF WORKS
Scope of Services:
The selected medical centre (s) will be responsible for providing the following services:
- Outpatient consultations and treatments.
- Inpatient hospitalization and surgical procedures.
- Diagnostic services including laboratory tests and imaging.
- Emergency medical services.
- Medication and pharmacy services.
- Specialist consultations as necessary.
- Antenatal and postnatal care.
- Dental care

5. Submission of the bids and inquiries
Bids must be submitted in the sealed envelopes and delivered in the tender box based to the following address:
Zambia Red Cross Society
2837 Los Angeles Boulevard, Longacres, Lusaka
on or before Monday 20th November,2024 at 2 P.M. Local time.
Any Bid received by ZRCS after the deadline for submission of Bids or non-sealed will be disqualified from evaluation.
Companies presenting incomplete documents will be excluded from the bidding process.
Any enquiry is only permitted in writing and up to two days before the deadline for the submission of the proposal. The answer will be sent by e-mail to all the bidders in a circular letter.
It is not permitted that local companies (registered in the country of the project) appear as joint-ventures or associate partners in more than one application.
Bids shall remain valid for a period of 60 days after the date of Bid opening.
