Are you passionate about mental health and dedicated to making a difference in your community? YMCA Zambia is inviting mental health activists and professionals to join our volunteer and resource database as part of our transformative Mental Health Flagship Program.

Are you passionate about mental health and committed to making a difference in your community? The YMCA Zambia is calling on mental health activists and professionals to join our database of volunteers as part of our groundbreaking Mental Health Flagship Program.

About the Program

The YMCA Mental Health Flagship Program aims to promote mental health awareness, provide support to individuals and communities, and strengthen resilience through education, advocacy, and direct services. Our focus is on reducing stigma, increasing access to resources, and empowering individuals to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.

Who We Are Looking For;

We are seeking dedicated individuals from diverse backgrounds, including but not limited to:

-Mental Health Professionals such as psychologists, psychiatrists, counsellors, therapists, social workers, and mental health nurses.

-Mental Health activists, advocates, educators, community leaders, and anyone passionate about mental health awareness and advocacy.

-Students & Researchers who are studying or researching mental health  and are eager to contribute their knowledge and energy.
Roles and Opportunities

Volunteers and resource persons will have the opportunity to:

Facilitate mental health workshops and awareness campaigns.
Provide counselling and psychoeducation to individuals and groups.
Advocate for mental health policy improvements in Zambia.
Collaborate on research and resource development.
Offer mentorship and capacity-building for youth and communities.
