Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting intern to assist our finance team in various accounting and financial tasks. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain valuable hands-on experience in accounting within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As an Accounting intern , you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our financial institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Help with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Conduct research, compile data, and assist with various accounting projects.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all accounting procedures.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) OR recent graduate.
- Strong academic background in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance is a plus.
- Adherence to high ethical standards and integrity.
