Job Title: Electronic Technician/ Electrician
Location: Siavonga
JOB SUMMARY
We are searching for a well-organized and reliable electronics technician/electrician to join our team. The Job purpose includes diagnosing and repairing electronics, installing new equipment and performing routine servicing and inspections.
The ideal candidate must have a strong background in electronics, with the ability to assemble, install, maintain, and repair electronic equipment and systems
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assembling, installing, repairing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electronic components and systems.
- Ensuring all power and manual tools are operated in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Carrying out scheduled preventative maintenance and servicing equipment.
- Performing equipment demonstrations and drawing up training manuals wherever required.
- Interpreting drawings, training manuals, and instructions to perform duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma or certificate in electronics. A degree will be an added advantage
- A Relevant certificate or license may be required.
- At least 1 year experience in the same field or a related field
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND SKILLS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good hand-eye coordination and physical dexterity.
- Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- A strong understanding of analogy, digital electronics principles and electronic components.
