Poultry Attendant x 10
Some of the tasks for this position include the following:
- Ensure proper access, feeding and watering of poultry.
- Maintain high standards of bird welfare.
- Keep the poultry house clean at all times.
- Assist in the collection of eggs, collect in a safe and secure manner.
- Keep and check records of poultry mortality.
- Ensure all materials, machinery and equipment is kept in workable condition. Report any defects immediately.
- Adhere to Bio Security rules and quarantine procedure. Before duty, shower and change into approved provided PPE
- Ensure that feed is always available, never run out of feed stock. Treat it as an emergency at all times where there is no feed in any chicken house.
- Assist in the other poultry house related tasks, catch birds when depleting for sale.
Requirements: -
- Full grade 12 certificate
- Must have a Certificate in General Agriculture or related.
- Must be computer literate with better skills in MS applications i.e., Excel, Word, Power point.
- At-least 3 years work experience in poultry farming
- A mature and responsible individual preferably aged 20 - 35 years
Other Skills
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Good communicator, Able to work in a multi-cultural environment.

- Team player able to work with minimum supervision.
- Fast leaner and easy to adapt to new environments.
Power Electrician x 2
Responsibilities:-
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Diagnosing electrical problems using diagrams, blueprints, and testing tools.
- Installing and repairing electrical systems.
- Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical/electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Inspecting, troubleshooting, and conducting performance tests on electrical systems.
- Pinpointing electrical faults using a variety of testing devices.
- Safely operating various electrical tools and equipment.
- Planning the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Ensuring compliance with all safety standards, company policies, and electrical regulations.
Requirements: -
- Grade 12 Certificate with at least five (5) O’ Levels, including English and Mathematics.
- Craft Certificate in Power Electrical or related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Must be a fully paid-up member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
Truck and Bus Drivers
Responsibilities: -
- Inspect the vehicle before and after each trip.
- Fill out the driver defect book daily.
- Submit reports indicating the vehicle’s condition.
- Assist with loading and offloading the truck when necessary.
- Obtain and safeguard all truck documents and cargo paperwork, including proof of delivery with customer signatures.
- Comply with traffic laws and all driving regulations to ensure timely and safe delivery of cargo.
- Position the truck correctly for loading and offloading and cooperate with the crew during these processes.
Requirements: -
- Valid Class C, C1/CE, PSV Driver’s License.
- Age between 25 and 30 years.
- Minimum of 3 years’ work experience as a Driver.
- Clear and checkable references.
- Grade Nine (9) certificate.
- Defensive driving skills.
- Valid eye test results.
- Police clearance certificate.
- Fingerprints (for verification purposes).
- High level of honesty and integrity.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
Auto Mechanic
Key Responsibilities: -
- Carry out planning and preventative maintenance on all fleet machinery and equipment.
- Conduct daily inspections using standard checklists.
- Repair and service generator sets, machinery, and vehicles, ensuring all planned and emergency tasks are completed to required standards.
- Perform tests to confirm reliability of completed work and obtain Operations Manager’s sign-off.
- Receive and review fault reports from drivers; perform fault-finding and add tasks to the repair and service schedule.
- Attend to breakdowns immediately and report any serious accidents to authorities and senior management.
- Ensure all tools are used responsibly, accounted for, and returned after use.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
Key Expectations
- Full compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.
- High alertness and quick response to any equipment faults or operational issues.
Requirements: -
- Diploma or Certificate in Auto Mechanics (or related field).
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Minimum of 2- 3 years proven experience in mechanical maintenance and repair.
Mechanical Fitter
Responsibilities: -
- Carry out mechanical repairs related to fabrication work as assigned and in line with instructions.
- Perform fabrication tasks and repairs within poultry houses.
- Work as part of a team to execute mechanical and maintenance activities, including machine installation, alignment, overhauling, repairs, maintenance of de-dusting units, and chain tensioning.
- Conduct oiling and greasing of chains, bearings, and related components.
- Assist in servicing, replacing, constructing, assembling, and fitting components for machinery, installations, and equipment in poultry houses.
- Assist during breakdowns, maintenance operations, overhauls, and commissioning of machines, equipment, and engineering systems in poultry houses.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, proper work practices, procedures, and environmental regulations.
- Follow correct equipment handover procedures—ensure tools, materials, and personnel are cleared from the work area and confirm that equipment is safe before resuming operations.
Qualifications: -
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Craft Certificate or equivalent in a mechanical/technical field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
