About FGCATS
Fountain Gate Crafts and Trades School (FGCATS) is a growing vocational training institution located along the Great East Road between Silverest and Chongwe. The school provides practical, industry-oriented training programs in various technical trades and is committed to developing a highly skilled workforce for Zambia's construction and industrial sectors.
To strengthen our training team and support the increasing number of students, FGCATS is seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical Technology Trainer.
Position Overview
The Electrical Technology Trainer will be responsible for delivering both theoretical and practical training to students enrolled in the Electrical Technology programme. The successful candidate will contribute to curriculum implementation, workshop supervision, student assessment, and the overall development of training quality within the institution.
The position requires daily presence at the FGCATS campus located between Silverest and Chongwe.
Required Qualifications and Experience
• Minimum qualification: Diploma in Electrical Technology or a related field
• Valid TEVETA Trainer Qualification or TEVETA accreditation is highly desirable
• Practical industry experience in Electrical Technology
• Teaching or training experience will be an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong commitment to student development and practical skills training
• Good organizational and administrative skills
• Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications
