TRAINING OPPORTUNITY IN REGISTERED NURSING – JANUARY 2019

Defence School of Health Sciences (DSHS) was established in 2006 under the Ministry of Defence to support Government efforts in improving health care through training of health care providers. The school has since expanded to train Registered Nurses and is accredited by the General Nursing Council of Zambia (GNC).

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates to train as REGISTERED NURSES.

DURATION: 3 years

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

1. Five (5) Credits or better in English, Mathematics, any science plus other two (2) subjects
2. Age: 16 Years and above
3. Holder of a Green National Registration Card (NRC)

INTERVIEW DATES:

Open interviews will be conducted on 29th, 30th and 31st October 2018 from 07:30 to 16:00 hours. Application forms will be sold on the dates of interviews on first—come—first-serve basis as  limited places are available.

MODE OF APPLICATION

1. Register and pay a non-refundable fee of K 250 on the date of interview.
2. Receipt from School Accounts before commencing the interview process.
3. Applicants to produce;
   a. Original Green National Registration Card (NRC)
   b. Original Grade 12 results
   c. Two (2) certified photocopies ofthe NRC and Grade 12 certificates.

VENUE: Defence School of Health Science, Off Great North Road, Plot 119 Kalanga Road, Emmasdale, LUSAKA (Behind Ngucha Filling Station)

NB: Applicants (from outside Lusaka) should make own arrangements for accommodation during the dates ofthe interviews.
