  1. Considering the mass investment going around gradually in the country..I believe that more jobs are likely to be created. And if more organizations continue to sign MOUs with other businesses; eg, Investrust Bank and Mazhandu family bus services, I believe they will return more on their investment, make higher profits and then be able to increase workers’ salaries.

  2. This will be more prominent in the civil service and not in the private sector though the private sector can be more prone because of minimum wage policy

  3. on wages, they may be adjusted upwards by a small margin especially in the public sector but the private has it’s own way of rewarding it’s workers. The public sector is guided by the budget and what the minister of finance announced in his budget speech has to stand we do not see any adjustment.

  4. the government is one of the major employer and so with the suspension on new recruitment coupled with high turn over of graduates from the university of zambia and other learning institutions,it is likely that the unemployment will go up in the country next year.

  5. It’s likely to be a year with an increased chances of employment opportunities but without much to talk about in terms of increments in emoluments especially that the government has taken a lead in freezing their workers wages. However, for the company that value the input by their workers will treat them accordingly and without any influence from the government has announced! Generally unemployment will record a decrease especially for the unskilled youths going by several projects so far announced and meant to take off next year
