1. Introduction
AGL Zambia hereby invites reputable and qualified organizations to submit Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for the provision of electrical, plumbing and civil works to support its operations across its offices and facilities in Lusaka.
2. Scope of Works
The required services will include, but are not limited to:
- Electrical installations, maintenance, and repair work.
- Plumbing installations, maintenance, and repair work.
- Civil works: Building renovations, structural modifications, minor construction works, tiling, painting, and related civil engineering support.
Compliance with all relevant national standards, codes, and regulations.
- Emergency response support for urgent electrical, plumbing and civil works.
3. Eligibility Criteria
Interested organizations must demonstrate the following:
- Legal Status – Valid company registration certificate and tax registration certificate.
- Technical Capacity – Proof of qualified and licensed electricians/plumbers.
- Experience – At least three (3) years’ proven experience in providing electrical, plumbing and/or civil works to corporate clients.
Past Performance – Evidence of similar works completed.
- Certifications – Relevant industry certifications and compliance with local regulations (e.g., Membership with the Engineering Institute of Zambia, National Council for Construction etc.).
4. Submission Guidelines
EOIs should be submitted to
ZM002-procurement@aglgroup.com with the subject “
Expression of Interest for Provision of Electrical and Plumbing Works – AGL Zambia” and must include the following:
- Company profile.
- Copies of statutory documents (registration, tax clearance, certifications).
- Summary of relevant experience and references.
- List of qualified technical personnel.
5. Evaluation & Selection Criteria
Legal compliance & statutory documents (10%)
Technical capacity (qualified personnel) (20%)
Relevant experience & past performance (30%)
Certifications & regulatory compliance (30%)
References from similar works (10%)
All submissions will be evaluated based on the following weighted criteria:
Organizations scoring 70% or above will be shortlisted for the next stage (Request for Quotation/Tender).
6. Deadline for Submission
All EOIs must be received by 22 September 2025.

Only shortlisted organizations will be invited to participate in subsequent Request for Quotations (RFQ).
