Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Agent to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about renewable energy, possess excellent communication skills, and have a proven ability to drive sales. As a Sales Agent, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base and promoting solar energy solutions across Zambia.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new sales leads through fieldwork, referrals, social media, and networking.
- Promote Marisfield Energies’ solar products and services to potential customers.
- Conduct product presentations and site visits to assess client needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales pitches and quotations.
- Achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Provide after-sales support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge, market trends, and competitor activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Grade 12 Certificate (a diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field is an added advantage).
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in solar energy, electrical, or related industries.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed targets.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of solar products is an advantage (training will be provided).
