REQUEST FOR OFFERS
Fabrication of Tank Stand, supply of Drip Irrigation and Treadle Pumps

Open Tender
SOS Children’s Villages Zambia has set aside funds to be used towards finance for the supply and delivery of above named items.
Potential Suppliers are now invited to participate in this open tender by following the instructions below;
1) The tender is open to all potential suppliers registered in Zambia and authorized to trade in those items.
2) The location of supply is and Choma (refer to the list of items and location)
3) The tender is free to participate. (Southern Province based suppliers are highly encouraged to participate in this tender)
4) Pay attention to selection requirements below.
5) The selection criteria for the award of contract shall be as follows;
Eligibility stage
i) Submission of company or business registration
ii) Submission of valid tax clearance certificate
Technical Stage
iii) Compliance to specification provided
iv) Provision of warranty with minimum 6 months on material/workmanship
v) Proof of having supplied similar items to a minimum of 3 clients (reference letters or past copies of contracts will be required)
Finance/Commercial Stage
vi) Price (material, labour and all logistics should be inclusive)
vii) Delivery period should not exceed 14 days from contract award date
viii) SOS Children’s Villages Zambia may offer a 25% advance payment depending on credibility of the selected vendor
6) Proposal submission should be in HARD COPIES only in a sealed envelope and must be deposited at the front office tender box located at Livingstone office and signed for by the person submitting (refer to the physical address below).
7) No electronic submission will be allowed.
8) No late submission will be accepted.
9) Due to COVID-19 prevention measures still in-force, no public opening of offers shall take place.
10) Results will be communicated to all bidders after the evaluation process complete.
11) However, submission acknowledgement shall be sent out to all who will submit the offers.
12) No payment shall be made on any part of the supply not satisfactorily performed.
13) SOS Children’s Villages Zambia will have sole right to reject any delivery that will not be satisfactory.
14) Delivery location will be Choma (Guidance will be provided by the undersigned)
15) Quantity and Specification
1) 01 x Steel tank stand to hold 10,000 ltrs volume water tank, on standard height – delivery to Choma
2) 07 x supply of complete drip irrigation system length 1600 mtrs – delivery to Choma
3) 10 x supply of treadle pumps (money maker type) – delivery to Choma
The tender closing date is Friday 26th June 2020 at 10:00 am
