TRUCK DRIVERS – NOVATEK MPONGWE (03)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Ensuring that the correct feed is delivered to the customer outlets in good condition and time.
- Ensuring that the correct type and amount of feed is loaded in the truck.
- Supervising the tying of the tent and Tarpaulin lines by the loaders on the truck before departure.
- Ensuring the feed is secured on the truck before departure to prevent loss through spillages. .
- Reporting all faults to Logistics office for maintenance.
- Accounting for tents, belts and ratchets issued to him/her.
The Required Qualifications are:
- Full Grade 12 School Certificate.
- Valid heavy-duty driving licence preferably class CE.
- 2 years of driving experience.
- Mechanic knowledge is an added advantage.
The Required Attributes Include:
- Physically fit.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Sound and sober character.
2. STORES SUPERVISOR – NOVATEK MPONGWE (1)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Receives and inspects all goods purchased in order to ensure the same are in good condition.
- Raises goods received vouchers (GRN’s) for all store’s items received and enters particulars on BIN
- Cards in order to ensure that the delivery notes (DN’s) tallies with goods.
- Carries out and records periodical stock audits, physical checks and proper keeping of record in order to maintain an effective system of accountability for stocks.
- Monitors the level of stock items by maintaining minimum and maximum levels on the same and advises superiors in order to facilitate replenishment of the same.
- Control stock issues critically by scrutinising requisitions from user departments/ sections,authenticity of signatories in order to ensure the same are properly/ duly authorised.
- Prepares weekly, monthly and incidental reports on all stores operations and submits the same
To their supervisor for budgeting control purposes.
- Will be responsible for maintaining the quality and feed safety management system.
The Required Qualifications are:
- Full Grade 12 certificate.
- Diploma in Purchasing and Supply management or related field
- 2 years relevant experience.
The Required Attributes Include:
- Must be computer literate.
- Strong, conceptual and problem-solving skills.
- Paying attention to detail with analytical reasoning and competence.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must have an eye for improvement and value addition at all times.
3. FORKLIFT OPERATOR – NOVATEK MPONGWE (1)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Loading trucks.
- Transferring of raw materials from one shed to the other.
- Offloading premixes from trucks.
- Monitoring the forklift by making sure that it does not run out of fuel.
- Making sure that there are no pullets or sweepings lying around the plant or yard.
The Required Qualifications are:
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Valid driving licence- C class and Forklift operating licence.
- Two-year experience in forklift driving.
The Required Attributes Include:
- Knowledge of how to operate a forklift.
- Able to communicate effectively.
- Able to follow instructions.
4. CONTROL ROOM OPERATOR – NOVATEK MPONGWE (1)
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Assisting the production Shift Supervisor and the senior production Supervisor in achieving the set production targets in accordance with the quality standards.
- Taking up responsibility for the production process during his shift.
- Responsible for raw material reclaiming during his shift.
- Ensuring that supervisor batch reports are filled correctly.
- Ensuring that products produced are done in line with company’s quality standards and specifications.
- Ensuring that reworks are reworked according to instructions.
The Required Qualifications are:
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Must be computer literate.
- 2 years’ experience in stock feed industry will be an added advantage.
The Required Attributes Include:
- Ability to operate various plant/machinery and equipment.
- Ability to communicate and delegate work to subordinates.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-management skills.
- Time management skills (achieves objectives within given time limits)
5. NURSE/MIDWIFE – MPONGWE
The Required Skills for this Role Include:
- Ensuring that patients are comfortable
- Ensuring that patients are respected and maintain confidentiality
- Responsible for taking blood pressure and other vital sights
- Assessing and giving quality treatment to clients
- Delivering and observing the woman in labour
- Referring the clients to appropriate authorities
- Assessing the condition of the new born infant and refer to appropriate person
- Writing reports and sending to appropriate person
- Maintaining team work and oneness in the organisation
- Supervising juniors and classified employees
- Conducting UCI activities and other reproductive activities
The Required Qualifications are:
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma in Nursing/Midwifery
- Member of General Nursing Council of Zambia
- Latest Practicing Licence
- Three (3) years experience in nursing and midwife
The Required Attributes Include:
- Knowledge and competent in health matters
- Able to dispense drugs to clients
- Able to supervisor
- Sober character
