Recoveries Officer

The Recoveries Officer will be responsible for effectively recovering outstanding debt from clients who have defaulted on their loan repayments. This will involve proactive communication, negotiation, and implementation of recovery strategies while adhering to the institutions policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Debt Recovery: Contacting delinquent borrowers via phone, email, SMS, and in-person visits to recover outstanding balances.
Portfolio Management: Managing a portfolio of delinquent accounts, prioritizing based on risk and outstanding amounts.
Client Tracing: Locating clients who have changed contact information, moved home locations, or are difficult to reach.
Documentation: Maintaining accurate and detailed records of all recovery efforts, including communication logs, payment agreements, and legal actions.
Reporting: Preparing regular reports on recovery progress, including recovery efforts, portfolio performance, and challenges faced.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of a Diploma in any Social Science or any other related field.
Proven experience in loan recoveries, collections, debt management, or any other related field.
Must possess a valid Driver's License.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong ethical and moral character.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Accounts Clerk

The Accounts Clerk will be responsible for assisting with a variety of accounting tasks, including processing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports and providing for other accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry & Record Keeping;

· Accurately and efficiently enter financial transactions such as loan invoices, receipts, expenses etc.; client information, and other financial data into the company system.

2. Financial Reporting

3. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

· Prepare invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies

· Load, process, and track payments on Company System

4. General Accounting Support

· Assist in the Audit trail

· Perform basic bookkeeping tasks as assigned.

· File and maintain accounting documents.

Qualifications and Experience:

· Diploma or better in Accountancy or Finance or the equivalent

· Must be a registered member of the relevant professional body

· Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.

· Competency in MS Office, excel, databases and accounting software.

· Minimum of 1-year proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounting Clerk.

· Accuracy and Attention to detail.

· Excellent organizational skill and an aptitude for numbers.

Loan Officer Intern

The Loan Officer Intern is responsible for onboarding, processing, and servicing loans to individual and/or business clients. This role requires strong customer service, sales, and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Client Relationship Management:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.

· Provide excellent customer service throughout the loan application and servicing process.

2. Loan Origination:

· Interview and assess loan applicants to determine their eligibility to access loans.

· Gather and review loan documents, including income and credit history.

· Prepare loan applications and supporting documentation.

· Present loan applications for approval.

3. Loan Servicing:

· Resolve customer inquiries.

· Monitor loan performance and identify potential risks.

· Assist customers with loan resigning as needed.

4. Sales and Marketing:

· Promote loan products and services to potential customers.

· Meeting loan and sales targets that have been set.

· Ensure the timely and accurate posting of sales for onboarded clients.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of a Diploma in any Social Science or any other related field.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong ethical and moral character.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
