Job Purpose

The Sales Intern will support the daily operations of the sales, gain hands-on experience in lead generation, customer outreach, visual presentation, and client relationship management, while helping drive sales targets and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting: Research target markets, identify potential business leads, and maintain an updated prospect database.
Client Engagement: Assist in reaching out to potential clients via phone, email, or in-person interactions to introduce products and services.
Sales Presentations & Materials: Work alongside senior sales staff to prepare quotes, visual product proposals, and presentation materials.
Customer Support: Respond to initial customer inquiries, provide detailed product specs, and address basic customer service needs.
Pipeline Management: Track and update lead statuses, client notes, and communication history in the internal sales tracker or CRM system.
Market & Competitor Research: Gather insights on market trends, competitor pricing structures, and emerging customer demands.
Administrative Support: Assist with contract drafting, sales receipts processing, order tracking, and general daily shop/office operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commercial Practice, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer software.
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn sales strategies and negotiation techniques.
Basic understanding of visual layout and product presentation is an added advantage.
Valid Driver’s License: Must hold a clean, valid driver’s license for client visits, field sales, and local errands.
