We are seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance team and support the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of our factory. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a proactive approach to maintenance, and the ability to respond quickly to mechanical issues in a fast‑paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out mechanical repairs on machinery, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, and related equipment
Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance with accuracy and speed
Execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain detailed records
Install, assemble, and align mechanical components and new equipment
Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and operational procedures
Support production teams with technical guidance and troubleshooting

Qualifications & Experience

Craft Certificate, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Fitting / Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 2 years experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment, and mechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience with preventive maintenance systems is an added advantage
