GEYES INCORPORATED, a Kitwe-based security firm, is inviting suitably qualified and disciplined individuals to apply for the position of Security Officer.

Job Responsibilities

Controlling access to company premises and client sites.
Conducting routine patrols and inspections.
Monitoring and reporting suspicious activities or security breaches.
Responding promptly to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
Maintaining occurrence books and preparing incident reports.
Ensuring safety of company property, staff, clients, and visitors.
Enforcing company security procedures and regulations.
Assisting in crowd control and traffic management where necessary.
Conducting searches when required in line with company procedures.
Maintaining professionalism and discipline at all times.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Ability to comply with safety rules and company regulations.
Sober-minded, honest, alert, and highly disciplined.
Good observation and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure.
Smart appearance and professional conduct.
Must be reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Knowledge of basic security procedures and report writing will be an added advantage.
Must be willing to work in Kitwe and surrounding areas.

Education / Qualifications

Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar position.
Ability to maintain accurate records of incidents and security breaches.
Former Zambia Police, Zambia Army, ZNS, or other disciplined force officers are encouraged to apply.
Valid NRC required.
Security training certificate will be an added advantage.

Free from criminal record.
Medically fit and physically capable.
Mature and able to handle confidential information responsibly.
