We are therefore inviting applications to fill the below vacant positions in the Transport division.

1. TRUCK DRIVERS X 40

Position Description

This position reports to the Fleet Manager. Successful candidate will be responsible for the below duties.

· Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods across local and long-distance routes.

· Ensure timely and safe delivery of cargo to clients or designated destinations .

· Conduct daily vehicle inspections (before and after trips) and report any faults .

· Adhere to all road traffic laws and safety regulations in Zambia .

· Secure cargo properly to prevent damage or loss during transit

· Maintain accurate delivery records, logbooks, and fuel usage reports.

· Follow procedures for transporting dangerous goods where applicable

· Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and supervisors

Ensure cleanliness and basic maintenance of the assigned vehicle

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

· Valid Driver’s License (CE or relevant class for heavy-duty trucks) .

· Valid Certificate in Defensive Driving .

· Valid Silicosis Certificate .

· Valid Certification in Dangerous Goods Handling.

· Valid Police Clearance Certificate (no criminal record) .

· Minimum of 2–5 years’ experience in truck driving .

· A valid passport

· Ability to communicate fluently in English.

Job Specific Competencies

· Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic laws .

· Good time management and reliability.

· Attention to detail and safety awareness .

· Ability to work long hours and travel long distances .

· Basic mechanical knowledge is an added advantag.

· Long-distance travel, including cross-border routes .

· Extended working hours, including weekends and holidays.

· Exposure to varying weather and road conditions.
