The MineTruth Coalition Initiative (MCI) is a Zambian civil society organization, officially registered in 2025, that was born from a critical need to empower mining communities and ensure they share in the benefits of the nation's mineral wealth. Our mission is to advocate for the legal and human rights of these communities, combat environmental degradation, and eradicate child labour. We achieve this through a powerful combination of community-led action, evidence-based research, and inclusive dialogue that brings all stakeholders to the table.

With a strategic presence across the Copperbelt, North-Western, Central, Luapula, Eastern and Lusaka provinces, MCI works to fill a vital accountability gap, ensuring that mining truly becomes a force for sustainable and equitable development in Zambia.
