NIRAS has worked in Zambia for over four decades (with a permanent and locally registered office since 2005), supporting sustainable development in the fields of agriculture, climate change and energy, green growth, forestry, land, water, governance and private sector development. Over the years, NIRAS Zambia has built strong partnerships through the successful implementation of projects for clients including the Government of Zambia and bilateral and multilateral organizations such as the World Bank, EU, AfDB, Sida, Danida, MFA Finland and USAID. In 40 years of operation, NIRAS Zambia has pioneered the development of natural resource management through long term technical assistance projects and short term strategic assignments for donors and partners.
